Digital Camera System

A quality strap system I use on all my digital SLR's!

I use it as a back up for my digital camera.

Negative Supply makes a very comprehensive system for scanning film in all formats by using a digital camera and a macro lens. I needed to scan 35mm, so I bought the 35mm LED light source, the 35mm Pro Film Carrier, and the Basic Riser (to which I mounted my digital camera). Everything worked perfectly! By using this system, negatives can be scanned quite quickly, doing an entire roll in a few minutes. Mounting the camera on the riser makes the camera perfectly parallel to the film. The film carrier keeps the film flat and, combined for a good macro lens, my scans were very sharp. I have had two Olympus digital cameras, three fuji and five Pentax APS C digital cameras and I have sold 60 x 40 inch printed photographs. Now I have acquired the K1 Mark II. 3. My landscape, architecture and commercial photographs have been published in several books. 4. I think the K1 Mark II, is a PHOTOGRAPHIC camera and has a great personality. 5. I think the K1 Mark II is a camera for those who love the moment of each shot as well as the camera settings for each shot. 6. I had a Canon 5D Mark III for 45 days and I used it every day, the system for selecting the focus point is not precise, "almost always jumps" to the wrong place, instead the K1 Mark II system is always accurate. 7. If you want a camera to travel in time, the Mark II is not for you. For me, 4.4 fps is not a problem. 8. The elimination of noise seems fundamental to me and this function, until today, will always be against sharpness and this comment is appropriate, since I also do night photography. 9. I do not have the original K1, so it is impossible for me to do comparative image tests between both cameras, but I can review the tests carried out by Internet professionals who make this type of review and compare one image against the other and the conclusions This type of opinion is very subjective because there is no dispositive that measures mathematically that "X" camera is .001 sharper or .002 less sharp. i have a a light weigh t digital , (micro 4/3)camera, which is relatively light weight. I also have a 100 -300 mm lens for this system.I do significant wild life photography and take this system with me when I travel. The tripods foldable compact design and carrying bag is ideal when flying. It's ability to extend is excellent. I frequewntly hike 1- 3 miles during a shoot. The ease of carrying is a definite plus. Also, I do simple astrophotography with a wider angle lens. Again, this sytem works very well.

I bought this camera to update and supplement my EOS Digital system from my original 5D, for the benefits of improved image size, image quality, the new focusing system the built-in GPS and a few more minor changes. This camera will be my main stay camera for my pending Alaska/Canada cruise tour. Having taken it on the road to run it through its paces, I have found it easy to adjust to. I am still learning the finer aspects of the improvements, but it feels natural in my hands like an old friend.

I'm using this with a DJI Mic Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder for Camera & Smartphone. They work great together.

This camera is top notch. Finally was able to save enough to make the leap to medium format and I don't regret it one bit. The Hasselblad 907x is an excellent camera. It's a straight forward easy to use system with a quality build. It has a minimalist design and well laid out menu with a touch screen. I've dreamt of a digital medium format for many years. I have an old beat up 500cm film camera whereas the 50c digital back can easily be attached. This is a versatile modular camera system which can be used with the many different Hasselblad cameras. It's well worth the money it's priced at. Considering what you used to have to pay for a digital medium format system, the price is relatively fair. I mean you are purchasing a true work of art. And it's just a fun camera to go out and shoot with, even if you don't come home with an award winning photo. :) One cool feature I discovered after buying this camera is that it has in camera focus bracketing, which is extremely convenient. I purchased the 45mm lens with the 907x 50c system. Now will I be able to afford another lens anytime soon? Absolutely not. But one day. The 45mm p lens is a great lens and is incredibly sharp. I've also discovered that Hasselblad has a ton of webinars on their YouTube explaining just about everything about their cameras and systems and even chats with other photographers. Even if you don't own a Hasselblad I highly recommend checking out their YouTube. There's always something new to learn. -@meltedconcept
