Digital Camera Tested

Ive been a Nikon user since my teens and I got my Nikon FE and then the F. Getting the Z6 was like getting my first digital Nikon. Having used and tested the camera I am blown away. This is one of the best all round cameras I have used. I cant fault it and the focus and shoot feature on the touch screen still excites me every time I use. Nearly ditched Nikon and was switching to Sony and so glad I didnt. Nikon has gone mirrorless in spectacular way. Impressed

I use it as a back up for my digital camera.

I have been getting used to using graphics tablets and when I tested out Digital painting, it was really amazing to see all the brush settings goes quite smooth with the presure sensitive brush makes it really engaging. I used to use the old intuos 4 before but the little lights representing the edge of the usable area and the new look are really good little details that wacom have taken into consideration

I tested a dozen different digital papers with a standard test image on an Epson 7900 printer. This paper aced the test. There are other papers that may be better for special applications but using the Epson profiles and ease of use I love this paper. I do spray my larger prints after printing and this paper does have a tendency to curl a bit. I did have about two prints in an earlier roll need reprinting because small bits had adhered to the paper and when the ink dried there were white spots. We vacuumed the printer and I hope this will solve the problem.

I tested the 50 and 150B Yamaha headphones to hear the same brand N3X hybrid piano.  Dont let anyone tell you that the 50 model is sufficient to hear your digital piano.  First, sound quality is so far above in every category of sound duplication. My wife told me that she actually looked to check if she had plugged in headphone---it was that realistic. Next, comfort, from the material around the ears, padding for the top of your head, even the simple 90 degree angling of the plug ( for finding blind spots under the keyboard ) makes using  this very pleasant. This model has one wire reaching up to your head over your shoulder, instead of the stuck- on- your- chest 2 wire on the 50 model.  After spending so much for a digital keyboard, why water down the experience for a few bucks ?

I've had this unit for only about a month and in that time I've tested it out and it's done well (used mostly for digital conversion of old tapes). There's really nothing complicated about the operations -- they're very straightforward. The sound quality is good. The machine itself seems robust. I hope it holds well up over time. As others have pointed out, there's really little competition these days among sellers of audio cassette players/recorders. Unless you can find a lightly used or reconditioned higher-end unit at a good price from a reliable seller, this Tascam seems to be the best unit around.

Dollar for dollar, this is a great speedlite. This is the first external flash I have ever owned (for digital). Have tested this unit all the way up to 1/4000 to freeze a drop of milk splashing in a cup to portraits and have been very pleased compared to the built-in flash on my Canon XT. Battery life is very good and cycle time is very fast if shooting 1/2 power or less. Head swivels and tilts, has built-in diffuser.

Newswear tried and true, field tested gear . Replaced my Digital Chest Vest with Press Pouch belt system. I put my gear through some adverse conditions in extreme environments and have never been let down.

I love this camera it is the best of the best for a digital camera.
