Digital Camera That Shoots Like Film

I am a photographer who primarily shoots film so I was ambivalent to purchase a digital camera, but this camera is absolutely stunning. I was drawn by the hidden screen because it feels more like the cameras I’m used to and I love operating the camera this way. The menus are very nicely customizable, and overall learning how to best use this camera has been made easy by it’s creators. The OVF focusing isn’t my favorite but the EVF makes up for it. I would definitely recommend this camera to those who love the analog feel. 5 |

I am a professional photographer that shoots both film and digital. I use Gold 200 when I want a little bit more contrast and a warmer tone for my portrait work. Keep in mind the film is quite a bit warmer than Kodak Portra 400 ( especially for late afternoon shots) I am very pleased with the results. 5 |

I love Tiffen’s BPM filters. I own 1/2, 1 and 2 in the 77mm size and use them for film and digital shoots. Great for portraits or interviews. This is one set of filters I always carry with me as a freelance cinematographer. They’re fairly inexpensive which is the best part and great for setting up those beautiful delicate headshot/interviews. 5 |

I used to use film bodies with my bellows for macro shoots. When I converted to digital bodies I needed room between the bellows rail and the handgrip on the digital body. The Pk-13 gave me the added clearance I needed to be able to mount the body to the bellows. Again Nikon and its compatible equipment rules the roost! 5 |
