Digital Camera Usb Cable Types

My first test with the camera involved various types of birds in flight, taking off and landing. Vast improvement over my previous IDX, solid tracking and sharp images, even with crazy busy backgrounds. Selectable focus points on the LCD took me about 10 seconds to adapt to and love. We will see how she performs over time. One thing to note, if you are a card reader user, order a standard USB cable to USB C ahead of time so you can download images right away. Couldn't be happier. Just make sure you have the exact right USB 3.1 cable that you need; there are a few different types.

This cable is great for connecting many types of gear you may not have considered before. I use it to connect my digital recorder (which only has RCA outputs) to my studio monitors. Very high quality connectors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cord is a nice little cable to have that provides a useful USB connection for many different types of devices. It has a good length that allows for expanded use with your electronics and is made of a tough material that helps it last.

It has worked well for me for both supported card types. I saw in another review where the reviewer heavily dinged the reader for its performance with a USB-C to USB-A cable. I just compared both connection types on my PC and don't see nearly the degradation reported in that other review. I copied 4.5GB off of a CFexpress card with each cable type, the C-to-C averaged 190 MB/sec, the C-to-A averaged 120 MB/sec. So the C-to-A was about a third slower. I'll speculate that in the other case it wasn't connected to a USB3 port when using the A connector or it wasn't recognized as being a USB3 device in that case. I try to remember to eject the card as soon as I'm done copying as it will heat up quite a bit. I saw comments in reviews of other CFexpress readers noting the heating issue. May just be part of the tech, not necessarily due to the reader.

This works perfectly. I use it to power my Roland R-05 digital recorder. I had a USB AC charger hanging around (the kind you can plug a USB cable into, like most phone chargers) and I use the cable with this. It works fine from my computer as well. This is a perfect solution at a bargain price.

This hi-speed USB cable works much better than the stock cable that camera.

My new camera came without an USB Interface Cable. The camera was Wi-Fi enabled and I managed to set it up. I decided there would be less hassle transferring the photos to the computer via a cable. B&H had the right cable for the camera and it was delivered promptly.
