Digital Camera With Mic Jack

Great camera, easy to use. External mic jack is a bonus....Good products, good prices, ....

So yes. First off this thing cleans up your audio from external mics very well. I've tried this on my motorcycle with the gain set to -10db and it turned out very clear (I am still editing that video). It fits nice and tight onto the side of your Action 3/4. Something to note....you WILL need to remove your usb-c access door to use this. Lucky for you, it removes easily by design and yessss it fits Into your camera while your camera is still in a cage. Another thing is you CAN use the usb-c port to charge your camera while still using the 3.5mm jack to plug a mic into while recording. - The 3.5mm jack is a TRS port so your mic has to have 2 lines on the 3.5mm end (not 3) in order to work with this adapter. - You cannot use the usb-c port of this mic adapter with a usb-c microphone as that mic will not work. If you have a usb-c microphone, plug it directly into the camera to use it. - the usb-c port of this adapter can be used to transfer files from the camera to your phone/laptop/tablet or PC or charge the camera ONLY.

I use it with a Canon T4I and sometimes a deadcat ran into the audio jack on the camera. The mic has no issue in cutting through unwanted sound to pick up what I need while filtering out what I don't. The addition of the deadcat does lower the overall volume but does not muffle the sound. Its simple to set up and use. Its light weight and only needs a 9 volt battery.

First, my only real complaint with this camera is not having an jack for external mic. Other than that, it's a nice VLOG or BTS camera.

I was looking for a camera that had a LANC jack, but they were all too expensive. Then I found that even though this camera spec sheet doesn't mention LANC, there is an accessory that plugs into the top and has a LANC jack! This one has external mic and headphone jacks - something that is hard to find in the consumer price range. Add an external XLR 2 input tripod mount mic mixer for phantom power to shotgun mic and wireless lavaliere mic, a viewfinder eyepiece for the display and it can work for ENG. This model didn't have any internal memory, but my workflow doesn't require it. SDHC cards are safer. +/- + 37mm filter ring for wide angle lens adapter + good for point & shoot once it is setup - no manual focus - must use touchscreen - very short battery life with supplied battery - lots of complicated internal effects stuff

This microphone easily attached to my camera and couldn't be easier to set up (plug into mic jack on camera). The sound quality that I have been getting from this mic is great, a thousand times better than the internal microphone on most DSLRs. If you are on a budget and need some good audio, this is definitely not a bad choice.

I use this to adapt my mic / guitar connection to my video camera mic jack. Good quality and did what I needed it to do.

this is a great camera which has the professional qualities I was looking for such as a headphone jack and mic input, white balance, manual focus, etc. the picture quality is great. Not compatible with my Adobe Premiere editing software but am upgrading to Final Cut Pro on a Mac anyway. Using camera to teach filmmaking to youth and has just what I need for the course. Awesome Camera.

I bought it as a general purpose mic for a camera with a mini (1/8) jack. I also like that there are plenty of accessories that can be purchased for it and it can be mounted on a boom pole as well. The Rode VideoMic has proven itself time and time again in my productions and with countless other small(ish) budget productions it's a great mic for a great price from a great company.

Looking for a case that would hold a mic jack, mic and my camera all-in-one. Found this one on amazon after doing some research. fits my GoPro 8 perfectly along with my mic equipment and tripod. Metal casing. Very happy with the choice I went with. Thanks for the product!
