Sorry I did not know of this item years ago. Saw an ad for it in the British edition of Digital Photo magazine, have never seen an ad in an American magazine. Ordered on for my photographer brother who has two knee replacements, and when I tried it out, immediately ordered one for myself. If you are anywhere without seating it is indispensable. It is at 22 very comfortable, and with my monopod allows for great shots. I never leave for a shoot without it. In fact, I usually do not go on any outing without it. 5 |

I am new to the m43 world. I have shot canon for years from film to digital with my main camera and lens combo a 5d3 and 35L. Got a g7 for a smaller family camera and for the video capabilities. This is a perfect camera. Super sharp. Quick. Good color. Oh and super small. If you have a m43 camera, this is a must own lens. 5 |

This camera is my first foray into the DSLR world, after owning several point and shoot digital cameras. I must say, so far it has been a blast. It's easy to use and the quality of the pictures is fantastic. Several shots I've taken of surrounding flora look almost fake because of the clarity of the pictures. I haven't delved into the more complicated features just yet, but I'll get there soon. One of the main reasons I chose this camera is for the touch screen display, which I love. I think anyone with a smart phone will love it, too. I'd definitely recommend the SL-1. 5 |
