I use this with a wide range of small and large cameras. APS-C all the way up to a couple of massive old film cameras. It can be used as a normal ball head and reversed as a panning head. It handles all of my cameras with ease. Genius design but you'll want to spend a little time getting to know what each knob feels like (they all have differently-shaped rubber handles) so that you don't accidentally release your camera rather than loosen the panorama lock when used in panorama mode, as the knobs are very close to each other in that mode.

I use this filter to prevent banding on some of my digital cameras when shooting in silent mode under LED lighting.

In order to create Portrait oriented Panorama images I bought this device to eliminate the need to flop the panorama head 90 degrees - and lose the 360 level. Yes, there are panorama heads out there that do such things, but they are pricey. This unit interfaces with my pan-head nicely and saves a bunch of $$$. Works well on my Canon cameras - even with the remote shutter release attached - with battery extenders.
