This device costs more and delivers much more than other units. It can broadcast an FM signal to car radios, has a long-lasting rechargeable battery, and excellent shock prevention when playing. I was listening to the unit on the supplied, good quality headphones when the unit fell off the seat of a chair and never missed a beat while playing. 5 |

Good tuning sensitivity both AM and FM. In the digital age, when few AM/FM radios still available, nice to find a dial tuned radio with a large dial scale for making pen marks for favorite stations. A nice departure from digital garbage. 4AA batteries is a plus. Very good audio punch for it's size. Buy one soon because it seems that any time a decent AM/FM is found it soon becomes discontinued. Sony used to make the best in AM/FM portables, but mostly garbage now, with poor sensitivity and short battery life. 5 |

I used this for digital signage in an elevator car of a 40 story building. The traveler cable was every bit of 500 feet plus I had another 250 feet from the end of the traveler cable back to my network switch. I decided to give this a try after the other more common brands failed to work at that great of a distance. I'm very pleased with the outcome. 5 |
