I have never had an Digital SLR camera before, and this was definitely the camera for a novice! So many tips and easy to follow directions. I am looking forward to our many adventures together! I haven't found a negative yet about this camera.

We recently installed this in our church as one of several upgrades in order to create a hybrid system in an old church to have some of the qualities of a digital system.

I am a painter (-------) and have recently started to create digital paintings. I use an Epsom 3880 for printing. The Epsom Ultra pigment ink series produces excellent color. I am very pleased with the results.

I am and artist and photographer. I bought this scanner to create digital images of my artwork. As with most new gadgets I struggled a little at first with the procedure for scanning objects of various dimensions and thicknesses. But a brief sms chat with support they got me on track quickly. It scans quickly and easily. Their software has plenty of adjustments for color, contrast and brightness and other things I’m not familiar with yet. I can get the colors fairly true but never perfect. But that is probably going to happen with anything when there are several pieces of hardware involved, ie scanner, monitor and computer. And only noticeable when compared side by side. If necessary I can usually achieve near perfection with color in Lightroom. Also it’s a little noisy but that’s not a problem for me.

I am using this to create digital negatives to print black and white negatives in the classroom. So far I am getting good results.

Shoot aerochrome with you converted full spectrum digital camera. Works like a charm, just set your white balance and trees turn red but keeps the sky blue. No need to sit in front of your computer to swap channels. Ensure that your lenses do not create hotspots. Some lenses can create spots in the centre of images.

I'm using it to create digital negatives and wow! Can this transparency film hold ink? Well absolutely yes! Much more than anything else I've seen. I do not have a densitometer but I would get high 3s or even low 4s maybe possible depending on your inks. By the way I'm using it with Epson R3000.
