Digital Projector For Outdoor Movies

This is my first projector and I am very pleased. Im in the process of moving so i haven't set it up in a permanent location. I used it a couple of times to watch movies on a white wall. I’ve been using this tray with a projector to show movies in my garage. There is more than enough on the tray to hold the projector. It works perfectly.

This projector lives up to expectations as a true native, good all-around 1080p projector! Setup was simple with an appropriate level of packaging, nice design, and intuitive buttons. Port selection was limited, but truthfully with hdmi, it basically covered all of my devices except my newest USB-c only laptop. On initial startup (and even after running it for a few hours), one great thing I noticed is that the projector is super quiet and doesn't get super hot. This is a problem I've had in the past with previous projectors but I haven't had any issues with this Epson! In regards to image quality, it has great calibration right out the box and things just Pop! The colors are great, the quality is as described, brightness and deep blacks are excellent on even 100+ inch screens. Also the projector has low input lag making it excellent for gaming! Overall, this projector suits my needs well. The picture quality is fantastic for the price. I use it to watch TV and movies both indoors and outdoors and it so far has consistently worked great! I've used PC, game console, Roku, and chromecast inputs so far and have had no issues. In terms of audio, I'm so glad it has a built-in speaker! Although it certainly could be louder and of better quality, seeing it have one at all is great. I do use an external speaker for movies using the aux plug sometimes, but it's definitely not necessary. Overall, you can’t beat the price for the quality, especially from such a trusted brand. If you are expecting to watch TV and movies in the middle of the day or even use the projector as a monitor, this project works perfectly! Would recommend! My family loves to watch movies in the backyard, and that was a bit of an issue with my first projector, because I bought a cheap Vankyo projector for $99. The main issue I have is that I have young kids who go to bed early, and in the summer that often means before the sun has set. My backyard gets tons of shade, but it was always still too bright to see an image with the cheaper projector and the image was also only 720 and never got very sharp. This limited our outdoor movies to early spring and fall/winter at best. So I decided to upgrade, and I'm glad I did. This Epson is SUPER bright, and the HD image quality is sharp as a tack from edge to edge. it's bright enough to be seen in the daytime well before the sun goes down, provided it's not in direct sunlight. Setup is easy, and adjusting the focus and the keystone to get a nice rectangular image is a piece of cake. We have a 120 screen, and the projector only has to be about 10-feet back to fill that size. It lacks some features and extra ports than other high end projectors will have, but for the price it's the best. A single HDMI is all I need. We connect that to our Apple TV, and then I have a nice set of outdoor bluetooth speakers that pair with the Apple TV for great stereo sound. This projector has a speaker, but you really should use something else if you can. It also has an AUX to output sound to a speaker via a cable if needed. I am very happy with it, and also happy with the fast and safe shipping from B&H.
