Digital Video Recorder Hard Drive

I purchased a portable hard drive, which I use to send long segments of digital video files back and forth to a colleague who is working with me long distance on a film. This case is light-weight but durable, and I feel confident that the hard drive is being protected.

This was to replace a hard drive that was failing. The Western Digital Hard Drive was easy to install and the restore process was also easy.

Reliable and easy to use. This is my third Western Digital external hard drive.

This is my 4th Western Digital Portable Hard Drive. I use them all to back up different photo catalogs on my MacBook Pro. I purchased this one to replace one that I've had for over 5 years. The original one is still working fine, but I'm always hearing horror stories of portable hard drive failures, so I purchased this one as an extra back up. I use these hard drives on a daily basis. I use Adobe Lightroom to organize my photos as well as editing. I have several different Lightroom catalogs and use a different hard drive to back up each of them. I ALWAYS use Western Digital Hard Drives! So far (5+ years of use), I have never had a problem with any of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Western Digital Hard Drive has a modern look, very different from others I have. The hard drive is easy to use. You simply plug the drive into your Xbox One with the provided cord and follow the prompts on the screen. The transfer of game content was quick. By using this hard drive, it seems to have made the overall experience better. It doesn't take much to fill up the hard drive on the gaming system. With this additional space, it helps make the games run smoothly. It's also a nice compact size, which makes it easy to carry. Overall it's a quality device. 

I have been using a 1TB Passport USB Hard Drive for Mac by WD for second backup. The first is a fatter 1TB WD drive with a useful Firewire connection.Recently, I noted a surge in digital photos in my files that I have been backing up regularly. I am approaching the 1 TB, so I decided to but this modest 2TB drive.It is literally plug-and-play. I shall probably buy another one soon for the sake of making redundant backups. At the current prices, this is a modest investment in securing my digital files.

The case is being used for my SONY.. digital HD video camera recorder. It is big so that it will fix and room for digital camera, the ligths, etc... So far (4-5) producer, would like to have one now.
