Authentic batteries are always the way to go. I saw reviews of third party ones not being waterproof.

Since I have been working with Sony HDR-GW77 waterproof camcorder in 2014, the original battery has a short time of life. I looked for the genuine Sony battery. But, I found Sony already stopped to produce it a while ago. B&H suggests a Watson NP-BG1 battery from its website. Then, I am so happy to see the great performance of this replacement battery. Plus, it is cost effective. No regret. Thank you.

Bought this case for Canon digital camera waterproof case, WP-DC51. It fits snugly and just what I needed for travel protection. Lightweight neoprene, not too bulky, snaps on back to close securely.

Amazing bag, very roomy, waterproof. Ignore the reviews that say this thing sheds wax, it's waxed canvas that is very lightly waxed. It's supposed to feel a little bit waxy, amazingly enough. Room for 4 lenses easily, your batteries, your memory cards, your camera, your camera manual, pens, pencils, lens cleaning kit, extension tubes, and just about whatever else you want. Stuff it to the gills, and travel. That's what it's for.

2014: bought the original Areca 8050 filled with HGST drives and used primarily for Lightroom/FCPX editing. Zero issues with this RAID. Thunderbolt 1 and see 400-600mb read/write speeds. 2020: Upgrade RAID system for more storage and better performance. After reading/watching all the reviews, I was expecting 800-900mb since my laptop/iMac still thunderbolt 2. RAID 5 with 8x WD Ultrastar providing 1100+mb and I couldn't be happier with these results. For anyone shopping one of these, don't be intimidated by the setup/config that some of the reviews note. It's a little bit of work, but nothing horrible. Honestly, I've had Alexa dongles that were more complicated to setup than this. Also: one of the review sites noted this T3 unit is not backward compatible with thunderbolt2 devices. I'm using the Apple T3-T2 adapter and it's working flawlessly. Thanks Areca for making such a solid performing array!

I was making the move from a digital all-in-one (and phone camera) to a mirrorless camera, and the reviews of this one really got me to look it over. I am so glad that I did! The Micro 4/3rds system makes it so much smaller and more portable than full frame systems, and Canon includes so many helpful ways for a novice to learn while taking pictures with this model. The 'scene' and 'AP' modes start you with presets for taking certain types of photos, and the Info button can be used to toggle on or off a helpful blurb about almost every option. The lens options for this camera are also fantastic. There are so many great lenses out there, and the prices AND size/weight of them is so much more reasonable than larger camera models. The OM-D E-M10 is not for a professional photographer (though the higher end models certainly seem to be) but for someone who aspires to be a more serious hobby photographer, I think it's a GREAT way to launch.

I purchased this reflector after reading the reviews here and seeing a review in Digital Camera giving the best review among reflectors, so I decided to give it a shot. This was a breeze to pop right out and start shooting with on our first shoot of the year. It made a big difference in our outdoor shoot providing a good amount of light with a great color tone. The only issue we had with this was right in line with many of the other reviews. It is nearly impossible to put it back in the case right the first time. It just takes just a few uses to get used to returning it the right way. It was well worth the purchase and I would do it again in a heartbeat! I am also glad I went for the larger size instead of buying the smaller one and then having to turn right around and purchase this one.

Useful for keeping anything waterproof and protected from the elements.Fits a Western Digital passport external drive perfectly.Iphone and Samsung Galaxy also fits well.Clip is good for attaching to outside of a packClear cover to view whats inside without opening. A bit bulky but you cannot put restrictions on protection.

Fits my gopro camera and waterproof housing.

I use it as a back up for my digital camera.
