I am a Dirt Track Auto Racing Photographer. I am replacing an older version of the PB960. I have used it for over 5 years. It is a great Power Pack for the price. It's also easy to use. With the dual flash cable it is extremely fast recharging the flash.

First off, to be honest, this is not a must have in order to enjoy sim racing. It is a great shifter that enhances your sim racing experience though. If you already have a decent FFB wheel, an upgraded pedal set and a good size HD TV or monitor(s), then the TH8A is the next step to take. If not, buy those things before buying the shifter. I have mine directly plugged into my T150 and I am using it with the T3PA pedals (I also picked up the Ricmotech Short Shift kit for the TH8A). Project CARS, DiRT Rally and Assetto Corsa are a lot of fun with the shifter. Just remember: the car needs to have an H pattern shifter in order to really work correctly. New race cars mainly use sequential/paddle shifters and the older cars use the H pattern shifting. The shifter does allow it to be used as a sequential system, but your paddles are probably faster and easier to use. I have also used it as my e-brake in DiRT Rally. Most games allow an auto-clutch option so you can use the shifter without having to use (or even have) a clutch peddal. The shifter is well built, has a lot of versatilty in where & how it can be mounted, and is a great addition to your sim rig.

As a photographer that covers racing from motocross to various classes of cars on dirt tracks. I'm always on the front lines with my gear in harms way. The inevitable did unfortuantley happen taking a pebble at a high rate of speed, breaking the filter but not my F2.8 70-200mm vr glass. Served its purpose so bought another. I have expensive gear in the field and makes sense to take precautions and accidents happen. Easy mount and , cut down on the uv rays as well as serve as protection. Dangerous shooting scenarios can be dangerous, protect your gear. I have filters for all my glass when covering dirt track racing.

I am very happy that I purchased the Thrustmaster TX racing wheel, you actually think and it feels like you are driving a race car, The little things like feeling the bumps in the race track and the force of the wheel when you are driving into the turns on the race track is unreal. I am so happy that I spent the extra money on a better wheel. B&H was a delight to work with and got my wheel 2 days before what they told me . Only use the belt system when I'm covering auto racing and going to be at the track four hours. Great for holding all the accessories I need without having to lug around my roller or backpack.

I love it. Very comfortable, very enjoyable, although I would hope there would be more real racing games like track racing even derby racing would be good. I only found one racing game and it was go kart overall it is the best in gaming bored Xbox and playstation away
