I have a Mac OS 10.13.6. The LiDE 400 just works great for Photos. I downloaded the driver from Canon. From there it was put a Pic in and click auto scan. The Pic comes up in Pictures folder in Preview. Go to File and click Share - go to add to iPhoto. There you can Edit the Pic the way you want or just print it. If you have any problems just reboot the Mac and scanner to fix. Oh yea..don't forget to click the switch on the bottom of the Scanner and in System Preferences to hit the plus icon in Printers and Scanners to add scanner..... 5 |

This is such a great tool to use, I have it setup to my streaming pc where I can control about everything with just a click of a button. I control my stream with the streamdeck, everything from music, scene switching in OBS, chat messages, effects the list could go on. The stream deck is also so easy to setup. I would highly recommend. 5 |

I use it with my in ear monitors, it allows me to control volume on click Mic and still get a line with my acoustic drums in the ear buds, works even better with my Roland TD30KV when playing live. I do wish there was an on off switch on the unit thou! 5 |

I had tried a couple of extendable poles. They worked but they were ugly, and they didn't have any fine control on how far they extended when locked down. One of them punched in the sheetrock on my ceiling, and the other one would have if I had pulled the lever all the way. Another way to see it is that with one click-setting, they were too loose. WIth one more click, it crushed sheetrock. This pole system has an adjustment, so you can control the amount of force the lever exerts. The other poles were MUCH heavier, which may sound good but it wasn't. These poles are just heavy enough. I set one up horizontally, and it carries three Godox SL-60 lights, and I am not the least bit concerned that it might not hold. They have transformed my small studio. I highly recommend them. 5 |

This remote control does a little more than just you click and it fires, it behaves the same way as if you're pressing the shutter release on the camera, meaning that it'll focus again if you want it to. Also it has the delay function so it gives you enough time to hide the remote control in your hand. The receiver can be mounted so that you can be either in front of or behind the camera. Although it's kinda big, I think the functions of it are well thought out, and it's enjoyable to use. 5 |

Works perfect with my Nikon lenses and the BMCC. Click less F stop control. Very sturdy and fits tight. No noticeable negative effects in images at any focal length. 5 |

I mostly use these for shutter control. Works mirror up, timer one click, or bulb mode holding the button. Brilliant reliable kit. I also shoot high speed flash sync with these, just set your camera to 250 auto and flash to manual full power. Move or diffuse the flash hand held, but keep it at full power. No black outs up to 4000 fps for emergency bright sunny day fill. 5 |

I ordered the Loupedeck Creative Tool after getting frustrated with being overly reliant on the mouse in Adobe Lightroom Classic. When using only a mouse/keyboard in Lightroom, I would have to click on the slider and drag left/right as necessary for the edit. Otherwise I would click into a box and enter a direct value. But with the Loupedeck, I can simply turn a knob and get fine control of the mapped sliders, which are out of the box once you install the control software. Speaking of out of the box, the Loupedeck has loads of preconfigured screens for a large number of tasks, which include photo editing, video editing, streaming, and at the operating system level. It automatically switches between the program profiles based on the active window/program. It is also possible to download other profiles for use with programs like Microsoft Word. My only real gripe is the learning curve seems a bit steep when wanting to add my own pages, especially to my OS profile. I would love to add a page that has my favorite programs to the basic profile, but so far, I have not figured that out. I consider myself fairly tech savvy, yet this eludes me. It is certainly not a deal breaker, but it is something to consider if you are making this purchase expecting to do heavy customization. 5 |
