I had an old Mac, purchased in 2011. It got heavy use in my work as a therapist. Then I dropped it, disabling the microphone. Research convinced me that getting a new laptop was the best option, especially since I had an insurance policy that covered my old Mac. I'm very happy with this one. The picture is clear, the audio is clear. Everything works. I'm in the process of transferring from the old to the new, and learning some of the features my older machine didn't have. Easier to set up and get operational than I expected. I am using in a home application, and disabling the wifi onboard in our cable modem. Much faster connection now, lower ping times, higher throughput, and dramatically increase range. The user interface is very powerful and has a lot of extras that are nice. 5 |
