After two lesser devices failed to extend WiFi to my garage, this one did the trick. Connection to my WiFi signal (CenturyLink Zyxtel c1100z) was problematic at first. The app would hang while searching for a signal. Resetting the device and moving it closer to the router didn't help. An email to amplifi support was quickly answered by Martin and after discussing the setup issues and providing some initial troubleshooting, he suggested a firmware update. After the update everything worked flawlessly. There's excellent coverage in the garage now where before there was none. 5 |
