You may want to consider a Bluetooth adapter for your headphones rather than this. They are harder to loose and more convenient.

Well, you should know what a beauty dish does, and this one does it very well. It is very well constructed, and with the right adapter can be used with just about any lights. I use Elinchrom monolights and with the Norman adapter is seems that it was made for my lights. If you need a BD, just buy it, it is great.

Bought a cheap beauty dish and I drilled a few holes in the Adapter to fit the beauty dish ans now it fits my Elinchrom lights. The Norman adapter has enough lip to drill and secure to the beauty dish. Fits the flash securely.

I bought the Impact beauty dish kit that B&H puts together with the diffuser sock, and the 40 degree grid. This is a fantastic modifier. You do need to buy the adapter for the brand of light that you are using though. Even if you are using Impact lights. I bought an Impact adapter and an Elincrom because I use a mix of brands for lighting. good stuff.

Important thing to remember is to use this on an Impact Strobe you need the adapter. So order it with the dish. Very easy to attach... produces beautiful light with and without the sock.

I've used this twice for events now in conjunction with the Tall Boomerang Bracket Adapter from BBX. At an event this weekend with a pretty gnarly situation which didn't really allow for bounced flash, it was a lifesaver. Mounted on my A7RII with battery grip, it pushed the B2 w/OCF collapsible beauty dish well over my head. The light it made looked great, and allowed for soft and flattering flash-light without having to bounce off the walls of the dark venue. Now if only Profoto would make HSS available through the whole power range on the B2 we'd REALLY be in business! This unit is extremely well-made and feels worth the money. It is light, but strong, and attaches/detaches/moves relatively quickly. The rig (gripped A7RII, Profoto Air-TTL-S remote, Sigma MC-11 adapter with a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8LII or Sigma 35mm f/1.4 ART, Boomerang, tall bracket adapter, B2 head attached to power pack, and the OCF beauty dish) is heavy, cumbersome, conspicuous, and large. I'm 29/yo male, 6', 180', fairly strong, and I was very sore at the end of the night! Worth the effort and complexity for the images it produces, though, and I will continue to experiment with it more and more. I'm sure it'll last a really long time, considering the quality and cost. One con: the screw for the bracket adapter seemed to come loose sometimes. Not a deal-breaker, but I'd prefer it not wiggle if possible...?
