Disk Management Win 10

Sets up with disk management in Windows 10 in just a few seconds and seems a very fast drive. Was a great deal on sale.

Added it into a free bay on the Precision 3660. In disk management initialized, formatted and assigned a drive letter. Works like a champ and is quiet.

Great product, feels incredibly solid for safekeeping of precious, precious data. Very thorough documentation on assembly of the unit, I didn’t have the usual new hardware anxiety plugging it in for the first time. There was a bit of a learning curve, which was totally operator error, getting the enclosure up and running in Windows. Be sure to initialize through disk management and not through storage volume. I set up a RAID 1 array through the latter because I read what turned out to be a questionable third party tutorial. What followed was a lot of frustration trying to mount the drives. The support chat with the manufacturer pointed me in the right direction and I reset the enclosure, and properly set up the HDDs through disk management. It’s been running like a top since!

I used this memory card to expand the disk storage and is loaded with music. I installed it on my HP stream 7 and HP stream 11 which are both win 10 OS's. I'm able to utilize the full 128 GB which are completely full with .mp3 music and play perfectly. My only issue was I tried to load the memory cards first using my main PC running win 7 via an external USB disk drive and it continued to error out at about 5 minutes of transferring data (actually hung the system and had to completely shut down the PC). I had to install the memory cards into my HP streams first and than via the USB ports was able to successfully transfer all my data.

I have bought 2 other brands and they did not preform well. This works very well in Win 10 with my 4 monitors.

I'm getting good use out of these since Windows 10 seems to have a knack for destroying my disk drives. It hasn't destroyed one of these -- yet!

I loaded this on a new Win 10 Laptop because I did not want to rent software. It loaded fine and runs with no problems.

Not much to say other than it does what it's supposed to and was reasonably priced. Win-win!

I'm am extremely happy I picked this up. It's really helped me out with space management and I don't need to constantly move and wait for my ps5 games to copy. Once it's on the WD internal ssd, it will play directly from there, no more copying and waiting. One of the best purchases by far for my ps5. And it was CRAZY EASY to install. 10/10 would definitely recommend

DC Technical Support is useless. The issues with using this are embedded in Windows 10 control panel and the new Color Management. Not only do you have to change the config in the printer driver and your Image software i.e., Photoshop, you also have to go into the Windows 10 Color Management and disable Windows color management for the given device before you even start. Without doing this, the spectrophotometer gives periodic errors. You have to then import your generated profiles into this cache, which doesn't recognize the profiles in the directory until you import them. To get it to work properly, you have to assign in Photoshop, but you also have to tell the OS about the profile or it will still fail.
