I have tried the microphone for a little while and it is great, just enough for me. Will put it through a real test later.

Soon after I bought the Syrp Genie 3 axis kit which includes the Magic Carpet (Short Track), I had to the opportunity to travel and decide to shoot some time lapses and wanted to take my Gyrp kit. While the rest of the kit was easy to pack, the Track was a different story. Ended up buying the Syrp Case for the track. The quality of the case is great, its not padded as much as I would have expected, but then again the track is pretty sturdy and probably could take some rough use. It is a very snug fit, but allows for room to have the slider piece to be on the track and still fit which is great. Overall a good case for a great product.

Received it quickly , fit well looking forward to test it.

I liked the H4, I love the H6. This is probably closer to what audiophiles will be excited about in a portable device with professional capabilities. Main improvements upon first test: -4 track standard input -dials to set record levels -improved signal to noise ratio -accessory shoe (comes with MS/XY mic which record to 5th stereo track you can also purchase a shotgun mic or an adapter to add 2 more inputs, though not sure if it adds 2 more separate tracks) Unless you are recording with the mic on a stand I would be very cautious of how you use the mic attachments. They WILL RECORD ALL of your HANDLING NOISE unless you are a ninja. Then go for it, OUT OF THE BOX this is a 4 track recording device which you can add a 5th track with a stereo mic attachment. It comes with a case which is great and two attachments (XY and MS mic's) which is nice, but one major con is that you have to purchase an AC adapter separately. I still need to test this with 4 different mics plugged in (particularly 4 lavs) before I can say 100% I am certain you will love this, but I am pretty confident in the product after one out of the box test. I believe this will be my solution for quality field recording and essentially beginner home studio recording. I am wary of the extra two track attachment for both durability and sound quality. I tested the XY and MS mic and determined that they will be best for me to record the entire room or get an interview in a real pinch, but even so it will need some work in post because the record quality is not as good as what you will get from even a basic boom mic.

I didn't test it out entirely yet, but i did try to record a single track of audio and it was perfect! Even routing the sound to my D.A.W., back to the Scarlett for monitoring was nearly without any latency ! The sound was rich and full and everything is perfect! I can't wait to try to track 8 mics at the same time though! :P the only downside : Mixcontrol is not easy to understand at first sight!
