Switched from Windows laptop. This MacBook has Good performance, good display, good speakers, good battery, good keyboard and track pad, good camera. And on top of that ....clean MacOS. Overall....nailed the basics of a laptop. I went with the base variant 8gb RAM 256gb SSD and being a software engineer myself....it's good enough computing power for me. Tip : If you get too confused with the colors, get the silver one. It looks the best and the most premium of the bunch in real life. And .....no ugly fingerprints too 5 |

I'm using it as the D drive in an Intel NUC, with Windows 10 installed on an SSD C drive. This WD Blue model is an SMR drive. I don't know that I would recommend it as a primary system drive but I have never tried that. I needed a high capacity low profile second drive. This one works great for that kind of usage. 5 |

This base model of the Mac mini performs remarkably well -- even using Parallels with Windows 10. It is exceptionally well built with a weight deceptively heavier than its small size. It exudes quality. Very pleased with the purchase and would consider another Mac mini to complement two i-macs. 5 |

I got this model and it don't work so went looking to see what I could figure out. Came here to check compatibility with windows 10. On the Overview page it says yes but on the Specs page it says only compatible with XP, Vista, 7, 8 lol 5 |
