Display Port Cable Connected But No Signal

I have connected a Dell monitor to my iMac to use as a mirrored second working station: one standing, one sitting. My bluetooth keyboard and mouse communicate with my iMac from the mirrored work station just fine. The 15' mini display port to display port cable I am using to connect the devices barely reaches so I ordered a 6' mini display port extension cable from B&H. The extension cable works perfectly. I was pleased when B&H came up in my online search for an extension cable because B&H is a company I trust.

My new computer has a Display port and an HDMI port. My monitor is connected via a DVI port. This cable works perfectly, I don't have to replace my monitor.

This display port cable is a great value.

If you need a port hub make sure it has power. No signal loss.

It's a cable and its job is simple, take the signal from the computer and display it on a monitor.

I already had 2 of these monitors, so i added a 3rd one. works as to be expected. everything is connected by display port or by hdmi via a dell dock. I did have to tilt the outside monitors in behind the center ever so slightly so that when i look at the outside monitors, everything is clear and in focus (i wear progressive lenses)

Very nice adapter, well built. This has allowed me to use my laptop display port connected to a large screen LCD display. Worked fantastic!

I have a laptop docking station (display port, dvi) and a PC (dvi, dvi) connected to the switch. the switch is then connected to one monitor via dvi, and the other via a dvi-hdmi cable. My docking station requires an adapter for the display port. I am having no issues switching between the two. The PC and laptop goes to sleep just as it did before using the switch.� One thing that is a bit odd is the monitor that is connected via the dvi-hdmi cable will randomly come on even if neither the PC or laptop is on. Not a big deal, I just turn the monitor off when I am done using it.

I purchased this adapter. I was not given it in exchange for a review. Inserted into the display port on my HP micro and connected a HDMI cable to it and my TV/Monitor and it worked perfectly.
