Displayport Graphics Card To Hdmi Monitor Cable

It connected the DisplayPort on my computer to the HDMI port on my monitor.

On my mac mini 2018 with a 4k monitor, I swapped an HDMI to HDMI cable with this thunderbolt to displayport cable. Huge difference! Before, the entire display was sluggish and unresponsive. Now, the picture is sharp, and the UI is smooth and responsive.

We were hooking up an HDMI TV as a second monitor on a PC that had DisplayPort, this cable was perfect. It was the length we needed and avoided having to use an adapter from the DisplayPort on the PC to change to HDMI. Highly recommend use of this cable over a double ended HDMI cable and an adapter.

I recently added a second monitor to my office and my docking station only had one HDMI cable which I was using for my current monitor. I ordered the monitor and the displayport and everything works like a charm. Easy to install. Long enough to reach.

I purchased this as a replacement monitor for a build that connects this monitor to the graphics card by HDMI. I have found it to yield excellent still and video quality, particularly for the price. The only weakness is the quality of sound provided by the contained speakers. I would certainly purchase this monitor again if the need arises.

Which one should you be using? Both types serve the same purpose, but when you get a monitor, graphics card, or TV higher than 4K, that's when the big advantage of the Display comes in. While HDMI is still stuck at 8K, 60Hz, the Display Port is a ridiculous 8K, 120Hz or 16K, 60 Hz, so, as for SPEED, the Display Port takes the lead!. BUT...the advantages of this incredible speed and resolution, is something that most regular consumers won't see anytime soon. as they move very slowly to newer technology. The lock in teeth is great, as long as you take care of installing this cable where there would not be any possibility of someone tripping on the cable. I'm a video editor and I'm using this cable with a NVIDIA GTX 1650 D6 Ventus XS graphics card. This Pearstone Display Port cable, what I also like is that is very flexible. Some HDMI cables I have, they are very stiff, causing a bit of stress on the ports. A softer cable is always preferred for that matter. It does the job and I'm pleased. It's always better to have single cable, than to use an adapter and a cable. This one does the job of connecting a DisplayPort to HDMI device.

Bought this cable to use my 1080 HDMIout monitor on a graphics card that has multiple display port inputs. Cable works flawlessly, as expected.

Need this because my video card, even though having dual DVI , HDMI, and DisplayPort... can't operate three monitors in a DVI + DVI + HDMI configuration. But, DVI + DVI + DisplayPort works.This adapter solved that problem when connecting an external HDMI LCD TV as a third monitoring source for video editing and playback.
