Displayport Not Working On Gpu

I have a 2008 24 Cinema Display that uses Mini DisplayPort and a GPU (GTX 770) that uses full size DisplayPort. This adapter allows me to use my Cinema Display with my GPU and it works well. Construction seems solid and it fit the ports well. Go ahead and buy this one if you need one. 5 |

5 stars! Stable and very easy to adjust level with slider on. 5 |

Got this to use my new Mac Pro with a standard DisplayPort display. It connected easily and is working fine. 5 |

We purchased this cable for use with a new monitor. We've never used a Mini DisplayPort connection before, but it is working well with no issues whatsoever. The cable seems to be of very good quality, and I especially appreciate the solid connection with the PC interface and the monitor. The product description indicates its use for MacBook products and HDTV, but we use for a PC to monitor connection 5 |

I use this to convert 1080p DisplayPort output from a computer going into a HDMI KVM switch. It has been working well, with no visual artifacts or other problems. 5 |

I have been working on PCs for many moons and after years of using little 512MB-2GB video cards, I decided to go for the gusto. I am not a gamer and am using the card for Video, Graphics, and also Astrophotography. After setting up the ability to use StarNet++ with the CUDA cores I am ripping through images now at over a 50% increase in speed with just the A2000 and a Dell XPS8950 12th Gen i9. I wanted to go with the A4000 but could not justify the cost right now due to many bitcoin users abusing the GPU market. If you are looking for a solid video card for Data Science or video and images that only runs at 70w and doesn't require an extra power supply this is your go-to card without a doubt! One thing I will mention is that PNY has fantastic support. I sent an email to support trying to see if the A2000 supports G-Sync monitors and could not find anything online or in the specs from PNY or NVIDIA. Within a few minutes, PNY responded letting me know that the A2000 does in fact support G-Sync. While G-Sync is geared more towards gamers I did want to take advantage of the A2000 120hz syncing and what better way to pair it than with a G-Sync 4k monitor which will be my next purchase. Thanks again B&H for the quick shipping and fair price in these times of high GPU prices! 5 |

Ran some tensor-intensive AI projects I was working on and they ran more than ten times faster than the i7 CPU had run them. This GPU is going to help me a lot despite being at the lower end of the NVIDIA and ASUS offerings. It did take a bit to get the RGB LED to work with AURA SYNC but after several days of turning the PC on and off the GPU began to be recognized by that software, allowing the lighting to be customized to match the rest of the system. 5 |

So far this GPU is working great. My PC is mid level with older components, i7 3770, 32gb of new ram (max) so this takes it over the top. 5 |

I am a mechanical engineer working on complex, heavy and large assemblies 3D CAD and game engine environments. Do not let the old Radeon VII performance deceive you. This card performance is unbelievable. The power requirement vs the performance output places this card above any NVIDIA Quadro card. I have even gamed on this card with titles like the new Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War with most graphics settings in ultra and this GPU keeps 65 FPS. My system is a AMD Threadripper 3970x with 64g RAM. You might need a good system to suck up all the juice from this GPU. I am very happy with this investment. 5 |

I've only just begun to get used to the new rig so this write up will serve more as a commentary at this point, but I expect the transition will be smooth and am now convinced that it was the perfect time for an upgrade. It's pricey (what Apple product isn't?), but well worth the expense if you are already working with Mac hardware. I purchased this Mac Pro as an upgrade for a early 2009. While still a trusty workhorse, it is getting a bit long in the tooth, and really isn't suitable for 4K, which for us, is just over the horizon. The mix of features it provides are ideal a solid GPU, plenty of memory with room to upgrade, high-performance expansion capability (Thunderbolt 2, USB3.0, HDMI 1.4) and compact size. My home is my studio, so freeing up physical workspace is a must, as my gear load is certainly not getting any smaller. I have to comment on the design it really does look like a goofy little trashcan (albeit lovingly crafted), or some sort of droid reject from star wars: it's certainly hefty enough. Cute though: it's tiny compared to the 2009! It's really startling when you have them sitting side by side in the studio. The performance, as expected, is excellent thanks to the modern processors, GPU and the SSD. There is not much in the way of local storage space, but it's more than adequate for OS X and applications. Anyone working with video on a regular basis isn't going to waste time with internal storage anyhow - external expansion is a must. Instead of choosing PCIe Expansion chassis I bought a $699 highpoint rocketstor6328 thunderbolt2 raid adapter which allow me to connect g-speed minisas configured with RAID 6, hp LTO6 drives and even my esata drives. It's a owesome Thunderbolt2 RAID Adapter so basically any devices with minisas or eSATA you can simply make them accessible to the new Macpro! I'm quite satisfied that my money was well spent at this moment. For anybody with an older Mac Pro, now is a good time to take the plunge. 5 |
