It's a manual focus lens, with a manual aperture ring that is controlled from the lens itself. It took a little getting used to... But I love it. For me, it's like using my old AE-1 but with the convenience of digital. For those who have never used a manual camera, this lens may not be for you. The fixed focal length and manual controls may be considered drawbacks for some people. I had found the transition from analog to digital to be difficult, and this lens helps me shoot the way I did when I was young and idealistic.... But I digress. This lens is known for its dreamy effect at wide apertures, and it delivers. But I was surprised at how sharp the images are when stopped down to f11 or f16! I did some test shots from my roof, and when reviewing the images on my computer I was able to see details from blocks away in sharp focus. The only thing I don't like about the lens is something I consider to be a design flaw. The markings on the aperture ring are covered up by the hot shoe on the camera, so that I have to turn it at an awkward angle to see which aperture I'm on. I've already gotten used to it, but it was annoying. Otherwise, I just adore this lens, and I'm currently using it more than any other.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Fujifilm Disposable Camera, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The camera captured moments with a charming vintage aesthetic that I absolutely adore. It's incredibly easy to use, making it perfect for spontaneous adventures and events. The compact design and lightweight nature of the camera make it convenient to carry around, ensuring that no moment goes uncaptured. The quality of the prints is impressive, with vivid colors and a nostalgic appeal. If you're looking for a fun and hassle-free way to capture memories, the Fujifilm Disposable Camera is a fantastic choice!

I purchased the Watson CR123 rechargeable batteries(2)with charger for a Minolta 35mm film camera. I was reluctant at first because the disposable batteries are very expensive. BUT I tried them out and they are GREAT...They came already charged and work just as well with my camera. PLUS I get 2 batteries and a Charger for the price of 2 disposable batteries...I use other Watson chargers and am satisfied with their performance.

Good choice for One-Time-Use Disposable Camera. Remember to use flash after sunset.
