This drive is very fast. I keep my Lightroom catalog on it and can use the catalog wherever I go. At the moment there are over 100,000 previews on it and I can view my photos without having to have the originals. The USB connector collapses into the body for protection and there is a positive stop when extended to prevent it from withdrawing while trying to put it in your USB port. There is also a hole at the back end enabling you to attach it to your keychain or the like. I am very satisfied.

Update can be done without old CPU with USB flash drive only.

I bought this Flash Drive as a traveling backup for my photos. Typically, I take between 100Gb and 200Gb of photos on a trip so this gives me plenty of space. The small size is ideal as is the light weight. I connected it to my MacbookPro USB-C using a Uni 4 port USB-A to USB-C hub with no problems.I ran a quick test when I received the drive and it took 2 minutes to transfer just over 15Gb (212 files) from my MacbookPro to the drive. So it's pretty fast. It took just two days to get here (Arizona) from B&H and was cheaper than buying from Amazon. So I'm a happy camper.

Drive works great so far. I am a photographer and use this drive for my image catalog in Lightroom. I was using a sea gate drive prior to this that crapped out unless then 2 years. The prior drive came formatted for windows and had to be re formatted for Mac. This drive is Mac specific and seems to access data much faster. Glad I chose this product.
