Diy Bed Sheet Projector Screen

It's a good product and comes in a nice zippered plastic bag. The fabric is about as thick as a bed sheet and needs to be ironed to remove wrinkles. I would suggest storing it by rolling it onto a rod or pole. 5 |

Purchased this to light a DIY 5'x5' diffuser made of PVC and a fitted jersey sheet. Used 3200K 1500W bulb and it produced a beautiful, soft light for use on our weekly video shoots. Great for limited space use because it can sit less than 3 feet behind the diffuser and light it entirely. Will be installing a second one ceiling hung to light a 14' wide green screen. Only downside is that the bulb generates quite a bit of heat, but that is to be expected. 5 |

If you are truly a DIY-obsessed Strobist, then this product might not be for you. But trust me, you'll be glad you sprung for this huge improvement over the bed sheet approach to the problem of diffusing harsh overhead light in outdoor shooting situations. Reasons it's better: 1) Much less bulky to carry around thanks to innovative collapsible design. 2) Can easily be held with one hand while shooting with the other (although probably optimized by having an assistant hold it). Either way, much preferred to the sheet approach, which requires at least two assistants. Haven't tried the two-stop version, and frankly can't imagine a situation where it would be necessary. This one should be all you need. 5 |

Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us. 5 |

Perfect for 40 flat screen on wall opposite our bed. East to install with just three toggle bolts. 5 |

I like that it folds flat and can be stored under the bed. In addition, it stands alone against a wall (slight sag at top), with no extra cross-bar and stands needed. The color keys out well in Cyberlink Power Director. I use a Canon 7D with a 20-70mm lens which gives me nice depth of field. Set your subject up 6 to 8 ft from screen, light your screen separate from your subject subject must be backlit (use 3 point lighting)!, and enjoy (5 lights total needed to produce perfect results). I would not recommend if you shoot chroma key every day, but I only need this option a couple of times a year. It paid for itself on first shoot. Watch videos online for more info. 5 |

This thing worked great. This is just what I needed to get my screen up and another screen to my projector up at the same time in my sanctuary. This was great. 5 |
