Diy Camera Stabilizer Servo

I use a NikonD200 with a Neoprene neck strap and the neoprene, flexible Stabilizer Strap (Op/Tech USA) around my chest when camera is not in use. The stabilizer precents the camera swaying when I am running, climbing, or otherwise active, even getting out of crowded vehicles. The stbilizer prevents the strap from impacting anything like branches, rock walls, furniture, or the person in the seat ahead of me. It permits the camera to instantly slip out of the stabilizer, leaving the strap in position./ The strap length is adjustable to fit over a bulky jacket or vest, and the snap-on ends make it easy to fit.The central lens opening can be enlarged to fit extremely wide diameter lenses. I canot imagine how it could be improved.

I have 3 of these on different plates and such to keep from having to remove the camera from the stabilizer, they are indispensable.

I have had my MK 3 a few weeks now and i can tell that is the best camera I ever use....I used to have MK II and IQ is far better and the Lens Adjusting is awesome...I dont have backfocusing anymore, and I used to have with my MK 2 with all my lenses....For weddings ISO 1600 is useful as 400 is in my XTi, and the focus accuracy at night is far better than MK2...About the ai servo issues i have to say that MK2 is a better camera in this case, but just if you shoot in Sunlight...but in stadiums and in low light....MK3 ROCKS A LOT! Amazing Stabilizer!

This camera's AI servo auto focus has received a lot of bad reviews in the past. I have a serial number 57XXXX and it works. I use all focus modes and all of the hardware and software fixes must have made a difference. The many features that have been improved from the Mark II are really impressive. The IQ is terrific, the micro adjust for lens really works (it was a challenge for me to get set up - two tries, about a full day). The camera is fast, fast ,fast in everyway. The battery is so good I seldom need to change it for a shoot - even with image stab. and lots of chimping. I have shot just about everything product, architecture, PJ, sports, landscape, wedding, and studio. This camera does it all and just keeps going. High ISO is very good and highlight priority works. I haven't shot much with live view so can't really comment on that. LCD could be better.

This Remote by Sony has made my production so much better and easier. I totally forgot how great it was having a servo for your camera and it allows me or my crew to feel as if we are working in an actual television studio. Great Product, thanks Sony & B&H.*

Excellent optics; used on a Sony A6500.  I have used it primarily for stills, but the zoom servo (3 speeds) is smooth and quiet.  Great travel all purpose lens.  BUT, it is quite heavy, especially for a light APC, mirrorless camera, and, inexplicably, Sony put the servo on the bottom of the lens so tripod support of the lens is difficult and the camera cannot sit on a flat surface.Pictures below from a motoring sailboat.

Need these with the stabilizer. Makes the camera easier to balance

This is a very good camera stabilizer product but needs a support like the Eroz X1.
