In 1969 I saw a solid-body electric guitar with a three-inch amplifier built into the face of the guitar. The tiny speaker was powered by a nine-volt battery inserted in the back of the instrument. Fantastic, I thought, why don't they make a suction-cup amp that sticks onto the face of the guitar? A zillion years later they did and it is fine. 5 |

For small combo work with a hollow-body jazz guitar, this amp has a great clean tone and in small rooms plenty of power even at its 40 watt rating. It must be extremely efficient because I have yet to go beyond 1 on the volume. 5 |

I am using them to plug in Mustang LT combo when playing guitar. Sound is very precise and clean. They are pretty lightweight, could wear them for hours, no discomfort at all. Long cord allows to move around the room. Definitely recommend to those who are looking for a low cost though high quality product. 5 |

I mainly bought this for mic'ing guitar cabinets and combo amps. It does a great job! Very warm and punchy, and not at all harsh or thin like some condensers can be on guitar amps. I have used it on sax as well and was very happy. I have not used a lot of other ribbons, so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but for the money, I think this mic is worth every penny. 5 |
