I use this lens for macro photography in my reef aquarium and bugs, flowers etc. Great: This is a great lens for all around use. I can use a much faster shutter speed with this lens when shooting fish etc and get an outstanding shot. I am very happy with this purchase so far! Not so great: Nothing yet. 5 |

While snorkling in Bora Bora, taking pictures with nearby docile reef sharks, the camera got loose; I thought the camera was safe, since the strap kept the camera from sinking to the bottom. However, one of the reef sharks seemed to mistake the floation strap for a fish, and bit it and took it away. Never did recover the camera. Would recommend using this in addition to the small strap that comes with the camera, rather than using just the floatation strap alone. 5 |

Loved the shots - it was easier to preset many of the controls first - no problems on vacation reef dive -way cheaper than a hard housing - flexible but has a glass lens port. 5 |
