Diy Mechanical Keyboard Kit No Soldering

Perfect replacement for a damaged antenna at a reasonable price. Warning: Replacement of the antenna is a DIY project that requires soldering skills (there are quite a few tutorial videos on YoUTube that will show you the process). If soldering is not your thing, you can have your local professional sound equipment dealer do it for you (if you are so lucky to have someone like that in your town). 5 |

Having relied on others' XLR cables on numerous occasions until I got one with bad connections and no soldering kit available, I decided to get my own cable for audio recording on film shoots. There are lots of cables out there, even cheaper ones that are good enough to get the job done, but I chose this cable because of the different colors available. Every location I've been, it's always black XLR cables, but to see a different colored one, blue, in this case, it's easy to spot my cable and for it to not get mixed up with someone else's kit. I inspected the soldering on both ends and it looks solid. The piece that clamps onto the cable housing when tightening the cap on the connector really clamps tightly causing a depression mark on the cable housing as opposed to some knockoff brands I've seen that allows it to have some play when tight eventually causing separation of the soldered wires. I figure they call it Star-Quad because both ends have dual wires soldered to each tab and one thicker gauge wire soldered to the ground tab. The clamping piece also separates from the 3-pin housing allowing for re-soldering if necessary, but I doubt I'll have to do that anytime soon. Glad I got this. 5 |
