Diy Mini Refrigeration Units

We were looking for a way to organize the softboxes for our new studio and found this bracket we talked to the manufacturer who sent us two units and we developed our own DIY system based on 4040 aluminum profiles and connected these units to them on the ceiling - it is flexible and allows us to attach almost any size softbox and make sure that it won't take space on our studio. The brackets are well made (metal) and easy to use. We already ordered 2 more units with more on the way - super useful. I'm using this with a small Godox Mini Thinklite, which I use with a DIY macro bracket. The flash gets placed in all kinds of positions, so I wanted a sturdy locking shoe to hold it securely. So far, this is working perfectly, though it was a little tight to slide on initially. 5 |

Been buying and using Lacie units for +/_10 years and these Rugged Mini's since they first appeared. They have made multiple trips to Africa, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, etc. and never-ever had a problem or failure in these. Worth every penny to back up your images while on the road and for stand alone backup at home. 5 |

I own a few light heads for my portys (CH1200, and EHT1200's), and the Pro Mini 1200 is easily the best flash head of them all. Functionality wise it works just like the older units, but the size of the unit makes it much easier to carry around. The removable power cable is a God send when you want to store it; the older units I have are a pain in this regard. The handle on the back of the unit is durable; I've carried it while it was attached to a light stand by the handle and it didn't complain or flex once. The spring-loaded quick release lever for softbox attachments is fluid and engages a little more positively than the older units I own as well. The construction is fairly weather resistant too. They're not water proof, but they can take some spray without complaining. I did a shoot yesterday at the beach and my lights got a little wet from a wave that crashed on the shoreline. The head didn't complain one bit. My only gripe with the unit is that the modeling lamp will not work if you attach it to an AC powered pack like the Pro Mini 1200AS. It's a minor gripe since it was meant to be used on a Porty though. Overall, if you're buying a new porty or have an older one you need to add a light head to, it's hard to go wrong with the Mini 1200p. 5 |

This remote works nicely with the 2 Genaray Mini Moon units that I use. You can vary temperature and intensity for each light, when they are set up on two different channels. Very nice to have remote control. 5 |

This device is as much a mini boom as it is a reflector holder, which is why I have ordered a second one. For smaller flash units, this makes for a nice travel boom for speedlites, quadras and any other new breed of light flash heads.I also plan to use it as a background holder - it is just the perfect lenght collapsed to go into a compact travel lighting kit. The price is higher than most other units in this category, but its multi-purpose design and the fact that most vital parts are made of metal makes it worth the little extra expense in my opinion. I believe in buying right once. 5 |

Really have enjoyed the sound from the Mini. Easy to install, just make sure wifi is turned on for all units that you are connecting. I have this set up in a long family room that connects to the kitchen and could not be happier. 5 |

This mini ball head was just the ticket for the user. It was well-made (ball head tightened well). The user will purchase additional units for other setups (used with the Manfrotto Twistgrip Tripod Adapter Clamp). 5 |

During Covid19 shutdown we turned to Remote Work. However Camlink type External Camera Capture USB devices were nowhere to be found. We were able to get our hands on Atem Mini models and start using those as USB capture devices. Later on, we learn how to use Green Screen on Zoom Calls using our Atem Mini models and for us, that was a game changer. Recently we got our hands on Ultimatte 12 HD Mini Keyer. And what a difference! We thought Atem Mini Keyers are the best. And they are. However Ultimatte 12 units are at a different level, even with mediocre Green Screen setups like we do. One More Thing: Atem Mini models have Frame converter built-in and these units will negotiate any source you plugin into them. We used Laptops, GoPros, Camcorders and even VCRs with Atem without any issue. However Ultimatte units do not have Frame Rate converters built in. So you must make sure all inputs into Ultimatte have precisely set frame rate. We are using 1080p / 59.94. We bought some MD-HX Decimators to convert our inputs to match precisely what is needed for Ultimatte. We saw some reviewers' bad ratings on the B&H website. Which we believe could be because of User-Error, not the units. 5 |

It is very bright. I bought three units and they perform equally well. When used in concert they make for an impressive mini studio. As most phones have multiple cameras, the clip obscures one or more lenses. The work-around is to reposition the light away from the lenses. 5 |
