Diy Round Curved Acoustic Diffusers Recording Studio

My studio project went beyond what's normally demanded from these stands. I made a curved acoustic shield for my desktop voice recording situation. My C-Stands weren't gonna work. The castors on these beasts make it easy to set up, move into place, move out and break down and store.

This product was clearly designed by a photographer. Round reflectors and diffusers usually require 2 hands to hold, placing the assistant a little too close to the action for my liking and restricts the height they can be held overhead. The handle design on the TriFlip eliminates these issues. The TriFlip is also very well made. Considering the number of uses this product has, it's well worth the money. It can be used in all situations a round reflector can be, plus a whole lot more.

Mounted two 4ru racks under the rear shelf of my DIY home studio recording desk. Perfect fit.

Such a clear, crisp sound.  Excellent for my recording studio for vocals and acoustic instruments.  Love it.

I use these K92s for studio recording an electronic drum kit. The quick response and frequency range makes for a really authentic acoustic drum sound reproduction. The volume levels are huge which means you could take this into a live, environment even without monitoring. The audio clarity, volume and dynamics easily matches, or out performs some headsets that are priced at 5x the price of the K92. The closed back does prevent a large amount of leakage but they can still be heard significantly enough that they could be picked up by sensitive microphones should you be trying to record acoustic instruments. So could get click track / scratch track bleed into the main mix.

Really enjoying this for my home studio. Tested by recording an acoustic guitar and it sounds much better than my acoustic pickups.

Great addition to any recording studio, pro or home. I've found it particularly good for recording acoustic guitar.

Awesome material for building DIY Diffusers. I love how flexible and how durable this material is. It's super easy to clean to if you happen to splash or spill on it. The only bad thing is that one end of my roll came a bit damaged. B&H took care of this for me very easily and very promptly.

I use two of these to hold up a DIY window to prevent lens flare when back lighting. The window is heavy, made of 1/4 MDF wood and covered with duvetyne fabric. It weights almost two pounds. Two clamps on a vertical light stand pole hold it securely. They also work great on horizontal rods of different diameters too. With one curved side and one flat, they work great for clamping reflectors or other flat materials to curved surfaces. Swiss made - should last forever. I can't find anything else to match them. Highly recommended.
