Diy Smart Follow Me Drone With Camera

I think it was a smart purchase. Especially for a drone. I usually don't purchase, but for a drone...anything could happen and it covers quite a bit. Need to check it out if you consider buying a drone.

This product does exactly what I hoped it’d do. It allows sensors in different rooms to trigger the a/c compressor and HVAC fan when they go above certain temps. Perfect. I think the follow me and smart home smart away features are pretty stupid, though. I much prefer to turn them off and simply use geofencing to say when I’m home and when I’m not. That way, if I’m sitting on the couch watching a movie my system doesn’t go into away mode. I also find it more efficient and comfortable to even put temperatures through every room in my home rather than try to use sensors only from occupied rooms. Once every room is cooled, it’s slower for the hotter rooms to warm up than it is for follow me features to try and suddenly cool a hot room when I walk in. Plus, if I sit down to watch a movie or something the sensors go into unoccupied mode. I can’t be bothered with all that so I shut those two features off — and I love that I have the option to do that! Keep keeping user customizability and you’lol make a lifelong customer out of me.

I've been using the DJI Smart Controller without a lanyard and had found it cumbersome and dangerous carrying it in my hands throughout a work day. While moving around before and after a drone flight I was forever having to sit the Smart Controller down to free up a hand to do something. I was worried I, or someone else, would step on the controller. Using this lanyard bracket with a lanyard it keeps the Smart Controller on me and off the ground at all times. While walking to and from a launch site it frees my hand to hold or do something else before/after drone flights. The build quality is great - strong and finished nicely. The screws are the correct size and work perfectly. The lanyard and power port holes are correct sizes and allow cable input with the bracket on the controller. I've had this on the Smart Controller for over six months and it works great. I'd never take it off. I'd highly recommend this product.

I was nervous ordering this follow focus because I could not find reviews anywhere, I took a leap of faith and it paid off. I was looking for a follow focus that I could invest into one time and expect it to last through different camera rigs and many years. I like the form factor of the Arri studio Follow focuses and I wanted to try to find one like the Arris but at a lower price. This follow focus seems to be the cheapest in the professional studio class and I think stands up the same as a Chrosziel, O'Connor or Arri. You can feel the quality on this Follow focus everything is made out of aluminum except of the marking disks and parts of the focus wheel. I can see this unit being able to take quite a beating. I like that every this is adjustable, you have the choice of three different gears (all 0.8 pitch) that can mount on either side of the belt drive arm and the arm its self can move to either side of the unit. The focus wheel can come out and it looks to have the same sized shaft as an Arri so you might be able to get different wheels and such for it. Out of the box you can either mount to 19mm rods of 15mm light weight.One thing I appreciate is the inclusion of a 64 tooth gear along with the standard 43tooth gears, when I first put the unit on my camera rig the 42tooth gears were too small to reach my small photographic lenses but with the 64tooth gear it was not a problem and I almost guarantee there is no lens it could not reach.I will say there is a very minuscule amount of play in the unit but not enough that I would pay another few grand for a more expensive follow focus. The included whip SUCKS it would just turn in place as I tried to pull focus, it's about as useful as over cooked spaghetti. Everything else in the kit is great though!All in all this thing is great!!!!
