I have a side gig as PA announcer for a local university and they decided to employ a DJ for their basketball games this year. He plays so loud it adversely affects my hearing and my equilibrium during and after the games. I have used a Shure WH20XLR headset for 20 years but it has no earpads for passive noise reduction. The A-T BPHS-1 has changed my announcing experience. I don't use the 1/4" plug since I don't need to hear my own voice so I just plug the XLR cable into my switch box and talk away. It greatly reduces the DJ music but I can still converse with the officials and fellow workers at the scorers table. The best part is being able to remove the headset after the game and not feel fatigued from battling all of the noise. The A-T also has a better frequency response than my Shure in addition to being more sensitive so I don't have to shout to be heard and my voice comes across deeper as well. It is extremely well made and I have not experienced any of the creaking issues mentioned in other reviews. The boom mike stays where you put it and you don't have to have the windscreen right up against your mouth. 5 |

This is one of the best Headset that Logitech has created. B&H had this headset on sale and I just had to buy them. I am glad I did and I like the sound quality and the mic is very responsive. You cannot go wrong if you are a game like me. 5 |
