I had a MacBook Pro from 2007 that was mainly used for creating/recording music and DJ gigs. That computer was a workhorse that just began to slow down over the last couple years. I decided to go with the Mac Mini this time around as it is portable enough to carry around while being priced well below a new laptop. I couldn’t be happier. I tend to disagree with previous reviewer. I have this product and it works great for me. I use it when I have a situation where I am recording from DJ feed that is from their speaker output, usually too loud for line input on digital recorders. It has 3 position pad and ground lift switch. Bullet proof construction, no worries if dropped, not batteries necessary. If you want stereo in and out, you will have to look elsewhere, but DJ speakers are all mono anyway. 5 |
