I actually use this microphone more with DJ applications (using an XLR wireless plug-in transmitter) than Interviewing and it work great. I chose the Long handle verses the Regular (which is just personal preference) but quality of either would be the same in my opinion. Sound quality and clarity great and I would buy again as a back-up. 5 |

Most of the reviews for the JMix8 are by DJ's. I'm using it as a solo singer songwriter and this thing is INCREDIBLE!!! Got my voice dialed in with compression and reverb and my guitar just sings through this setup. I'm still learning how to use all of the features but I could not be happier with how it sounds the way I have it set up now. I was hoping to use the electric guitar modeling amps built into it but I haven't found any out of the box settings that I'd use live. Just want a simple crunch and a clean sound I can be proud of but haven't figured that part out yet. I'm not a great guitar amp setting mind so I've always struggled getting the sounds I want to come out of my amps. But with acoustic and voice only!? WOW WOW WOW!!! 5 |

I purchased this microphone because i am a Dj at an Internet Rock/Metal station.I wanted a microphone that is decent but that is also not too expensive,after hearing and reading so many great reviews about the snowball i decided to purchase one and i am very happy with it.It was very easy to setup it does not take up alot of space is quite attractive and i have not had any problems whatsoever with it..I would recommend to anyone looking for a decent mic that wont break their pocket. 5 |
