Sony turns out some fantastic equipment, but sometimes they forget that you have to mount accessories. The DM-mount is the answer.

I would hop into the car, but never found right spot for phone. I would put phone on car dash shelf, drive around a corner, not speeding mind you, and phone would fly across car, or end up under seat or down side of seat or wherever! There would always be that annoying charger cord getting tangled and in the way and usually ends up broken. But now….hop in car, easily place phone on holder - it stays there no matter how many potholes I drive over and…..the best part…..it charges on holder! The cord is concealed with little clips so no more annoying cords in the way. Absolutely love it! And because it is a permanent fixture, it counts as handsfree.

I tried this out with my 100-400 lens and found it very easy to pan/tilt. The only thing is I have to be raised up in my car seat to use it. I see no reason why others spent much more $$ on other brands. This works fine. Solid build. BTW, you can't go wrong with B&H !

Helps protect the lens. Previous filter broke when it fell off the car seat. No damage to the lens

I bought this knife as an emergency car knife,for seat belt cutting and repel borders duty. A fixed blade is always desired,in these conditions. This knife is a great,great value. Well made,well shaped.

This is the body you want for a knock around camera, like when hiking or when thrown in the back seat of the car. And cheap now that v2 is out and you could wait for V3 then buy V1 ... as you wait for the Z8,

The interior of my car is black. The fob to start the car is black. The day after my Nitecore arrived I could not find my fob in the pocket in which it usually rides. Having experienced this before, I pushed the start button and the car started, so I knew it was in the vehicle somewhere. I had attached the TUBE V2 to a pen knife I always carry. I dropped to my knees and peered all over the floor, and then under the driver's seat. There, hidden in the electronics that ride under the seat, I saw the glint of the fob's ring. Life is good! Bravo!

I keep this 6' cable in my car for people to use to charge their phone while sitting in the back seat. I use it with a dual-port car charger that puts out 2.4A per port, and the cable is able to carry the full power that the charger puts out. Good strain relief at each end, so I expect the cable to last.
