2/3 of a stop is a good value for my needs. the full stop was too much and 1/3 not enough at all.

This is a work horse mic used by every sound engineer to record any type of instruments:brass, percussion, etc.

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments.  The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections.  Versatile and great sound quality.

Use these for cymbals, ac. guitar, violin... rich sounding instruments. Freq response is terrific & very versatile w/ 2 pad settings, 2 rolloff settings, & 2 patterns. I love having the shockmount clips as well.

Great microphone for those production teams on a budget. Use the kit for speech, vocals or instruments!

This thing is so useful. Do not sniff at it. Worth 10 bucks, and for free with a purchase even better. Use it all the time.

Use this mainly as a protective filter. Love the fact that it is a brass ringed filter - NO MORE STICKING!! You can just feel by the weight that this is a quality product. I have bought my last aluminum ringed filter.

Use this filter on a Nikon 50mm F1.8 lens. This is my first B+W filter. Love the brass ring. No image issues on a D750. Quality of consturcion is excellent. Will see how it cleans as I use it over the next month. I always bought top of the line or one below top of the line Hoya filters. Really like the brass ring.
