Do you need a robust USB hub that lights up with each connection? No. Any old USB hub will work. But as an on stage musician/producer/programmer, having something this robust, reliable and focused on reliability is 100% a necessity. I can't afford to have USB drops or shady connections. I got 2 universal remotes and neither of them worked beyond 10 ft and even at that range they worked about 50% of the time!! This one works EVERY time at that distance! 5 |
