Do Dp Interface Creates Lines On Screen

The tape is very colorful and thus a real benefit for identifying different feeds and lines without difficulty. Creates a colorful display on the venue floor! 5 |

Familiar interface means this is a super easy way to run more lines without dealing with new, unfamiliar gear. 5 |

5 stars! Stable and very easy to adjust level with slider on. 5 |

this is used in a 4 screen array with 3 identical units, the hdr mode makes the picture clear, bright, and precise. the small bezel on these units make the ideal for an array of this sort. the one caution is that the DP plug is in line with the center of the mount area making the plugs on the DP cables hit the arm of the mount I used requiring a different pug to be used the issue was my planning not the product. overall i am very satisfied. 5 |

I was using this with an older DisplayPort cable, which was not DP 1.2 compatible. Lots of noise and flickering on screen. After upgrading my DP cable, everything worked great with this adapter. Have it running a screen at 4K @ 60Hz, from a Mac Book Pro. 5 |

used it to connect my surface book to two 4k monitors through miniDP to DP. works flawlessly. when surface screen is closed... both monitors work on 4k 5 |

This is a part of my step up from a 27 inch screen. It is sharp and the details and colors on my bird photos are superb. One caveat. The DP to DP mini cable I got in the box wouldn't work. The screen was black. My PC is an HP mini workstation. I got an aftermarket HDMI to DP cable and did get a working screen. However, this was not the best solution for full functioning at the best level. I chatted with HP tech support and got a DP to mini DP adapter and connected it to the aftermarket cable. The mini DP port on the PC became functional with this HP adapter. 5 |

Display looks great straight out of the box, with no adjustments. With 4 times the pixels but less than twice the screen area of my 21 monitor the smaller text and icons took some getting used to. If space, viewing distance, and budget allow a 32 might be better, but after a week I'm really happy with it. Mine came with an HDMI cable instead of the DP cable it's supposed to have. No idea if that was a one time packaging mistake for mine or a (temporary?) glitch at Viewsonic, but they shipped me a DP cable the afternoon that I called about it. My only complaint is the lack of positive stops at the portrait and landscape positions when rotating the display, but it does stay in position (including height and up/down tilt, too) with no problem. 5 |
