Do Extension Record Browsing In Private Mode

As a band director, I use this mic to record the Bands and sometimes students in private lessons. The omni directional setting is great.

I am using the microphone to record my voice for work and private uses. I tested it against the Shure Headset WH20 and the Sennheiser e835. The ears told me that the AT2020 is the better mic. I did a Reveal analysis in Peak Pro 6 (shows the gain response vs. frequency). The AT2020 showed a wider frequency range response than either the Shure or the Sennheiser mics. Before, I hated to hear my recorded voice. Now I can easily listen to it, even though I don't have the Radio Voice.

This is an excellent monitor. I have it mounted in portrait mode and connected to a mini PC for web browsing, email, and PDF viewing.

Do you have the XDCA with a brick and wireless link on the back? This is the cover you need. Easy access to battery and rear wireless. Also includes the removable cover for the FS-7's extension arm. I'm using the Zacuto base plate, so my SHAPE extension arm is mounted a little forward of the camera's native mount, but it still works. (though it is a little tight) I'm also using the Zacuto Axis mini for my eye piece and this cover fits it nicely as well. High quality and well made.

THE EXTENSION SET IS EASY TO USE, AND ALLOWED ME TO DO MANY CLOSE-UP SHOTS I HAD PROBLEMS WITH BEFORE. WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

Trying to reply to a question about this controller. Do you think this would control zoom and record on a Sony rx10 ii ? and my answer would be . NO. that type of Zoom on those type of cameras do not allow for a automatic zoom. the zooms are normally manual. and dont provide for that feature. I use a lot of sony video body based cameras and this zoom controll works great. you may have to get an adapter depending on the model. but no, wont work with the sony RX10ii.- Monte

works great in TTL mode. I added my Godox flash with extension cord to transmitter, put it in TTL mode and it worked great too.

Absolutely wonderful bit of gear. The quality of the audio the Zoom H5 records is perfect. I Keep it set at in WAV at 48Khz - 24bit, (to match my in camera rates, audio drift is a terrible thing) and with a 32gb card it'll record 30ish HOURS of audio in stero mode, or about 15ish hours in multi mode using both inputs and the XY capsule. I've used this with Lav, shotgun (with and without phantom power), Dynamic mics, and the XY capsule. I've input with XLR, 1/4 TRS, and 3.5mm TRS via the capsule input both with and without line power, recorded misc mic inputs from mixers and occasionally I'll even run the line out to the camera for backup. Everything works incredibly well. And with the new firmware update the ability to output a sine wave at the begining, end or both of a recording makes syncing that much easier when I do run to the camera. I've mounted this to the top of DSLRs via the hot-shoe with a generic friction arm, and it's light enough to hold steady with no worries. Even with XLR cables hanging off. On set, podcasts, pick up recordings, simple voice-overs, even random things my kids do, I reach for this thing every time I even THINK I might want to record audio. I can't wait to try out the other capsule attachments. Having owned both this and the H4N, this is a much better buy. My one big complaint about this is the feel of the exterior for the first few weeks left my hands with an odd coated feeling. It's a weird personal thing, nobody else complained about it, but I no longer have that feeling on my hands after use.

I used it to record some big events. The MXP mode gives the quality is very satisfied. I have had several camcorders. I believe this one is the one I expected. The great about is the HD quality, the reasonable price, the weight and size. The weak point is the battery recording length. It only can record a half hour or less event with HD mode.
