Do I Look Silly Using A Composition Notebook
Larry | 2024-08-28 02:22:11 |
That may sound silly - we don't have to pick up or put down our instrument - other than to put it on our leg. But when you DO genuinely have to put it somewhere, this is a PROTECTION device. Your baby is cradled in a padded, stable stationary base. The included tiny table for your all-important rosin cake is just a fantastic-frosting-feature on this classy way to keep your instrument handy! 5 |

Using the O.E.M. pays off. Do not buy after market 5 |

Look, I did all the homework before giving my money away for this overpriced under-specced monitor. I know there are cheaper non-Apple monitors on the market that have more bells, and get the job done. But for video/photo editing to external hard drives, out-of-the-box color accuracy, and simplicity this thing, for better or for worse, tips the scales in its favor. It just works, and looks sexy. Do I need 120hz refresh? ehhhh. I've read a lot but feel that I don't video game on this so it's not necessary. Is the base model way too glossy? Absolutely! I almost splurged on the slightly matte screen, until I read it might be more of a headache keeping clean. The speakers really are the best built-in you could want. I have mine scaled as high as it could go. Sure the text is tiny, but I need the extra real estate feeling. What more is to say? You either know you can justify the price with the work you do, or not. I've read it's not as nice as the super-micro-OLED screens of the newest MBP laptops, but right next to one, I can't tell the difference. Do I want the even more expensive version? Yes, but that's ridiculously priced. Do I wish I had the articulating arm? Not really. For me I set a height of the monitor and generally keep it there. 5 |

Do you have a need for multi-microphone recording? Look no further. This is for sure one of my favorite pieces of gear. All of the inputs are well crafted, Purchased a case specifically for this and a power conditioner and they work seamlessly together. The USB-C input means I can use it directly with my newer generation of Mac computer M1. The audio quality is great, you can power 48v channels 1-4 and 5-8, and makes audio routing very easy. There is a built-in microphone for talkback from the control room which means I don't need to route another microphone specifically for talkback. It's a solid build, and I can foresee it holding up for a LONG time. 5 |

Using this on a SmallHD 702 because the SmallHD sun hood is overpriced, hard to mount, and an overall silly and fragile design. This Hoodman fits the monitor just fine and is much more simple and durable, and can be used on other 7 in monitors as well. 5 |

Using the D1 with my HP 15 Notebook PC it greatly improved the entire bandwidth, with cleaner, sharper mids and highs, and a tighter, fuller bottom end. I use it primarily with a pair of AKG K702 cans, which the D1 drives much better than the HP's headphone amp. Great at the price! 5 |

We were having audio troubles using Skype and the embedded mic in our notebook. Using this headset all worked great. Sent the headset with one of my clients to Japan for four weeks, he is Skyping into the office every day. 5 |

Unfortunately, soon after I received my notebook, coffee was spilled on it and became inoperational. Using the protection plan I was able to get Apple to repair it. It took several weeks, but eventually, I got back the computer repaired. 5 |

Before you get all bent out of shape. These Mics do sound better than my Sennheisers. Why? Senns are made with High Frequency Roll Off. BUT! If you have excellent sound from your cameras. Then it just sounds muddy and overly bass. However! Using these Mics the sound is properly balanced with my gear. No need to have to use a Mixer or post. Using the Senns makes my clients say. Wow - to low. Using the Saramonics simultaneously gives the client what they want. Do not think all is bliss. The instructions Suck - Big Time. Never mentions that you have to activate the power for the 2nd Mic set in the Master. AND! The power consumption is GROSS! Even at minimum power the Receiver cuts out in about 3 hours. Using Eneloops no less. Plus - they are WAY TO HEAVY! In the real world those are called - characteristics. Do they work - Excellent. Are they quiet - YUP! Easy to set up - Sort of. Sound quality - great for high quality gear. Recommend Senns for cheaper gear - like DSLRs. 5 |

Using it with EF Lens 70-200 mm, works like charm. Do notice the slightly slower focusing but great for shooting outdoors, especially with sports. 5 |
