This is a well made, simple splitter that allows one to use an external mic with an iPhone/iPad and monitor the sound with headphones. I keep it in a baggie in my messenger bag so that it doesn't get caught on anything, and always have it with me with a lav mic for interviews. 5 |

Honestly, I bought these solely as extensions with which to charge my iPhone and iPad. I have, however, run data through them, and they work as advertised at full USB 2.0 speed. They seem to be fairly sturdy and otherwise well made. 5 |

I've used an iPhone for many years but this is my first iPad. It seems to do everything I need, which isn't a lot since I have desktop computers for doing my serious work. But this iPad is great for checking email, keeping notes, watching Youtube etc. I'm sure it's capable of doing a lot more stuff if I needed it. For $329 it is a much better purchase for me than an expensive one. 5 |
