Do Open Ear Headphones Work

These are my first open ear headphones. No more earbuds for me!

These open ear bluetooth headphones are exactly what I needed. The sound quality is very good for not actually covering your ears. I can hear my program/music without bothering anyone else in the room/house, but, I can still hear everything around me. The refrigerator door alarm, the dryer beep, the ring doorbell motion alarm,the baby cry or the dog bark. Pairing is easy. The Charge last plenty long. Controls are simple and straight forward. The only problem I have found with these are they do not work well when laying down. I haven't figured out a way to make that work.......yet

My only problem is keeping them connected, but love these and my open ear headphones!

Work like a charm for much less the the cost of most In-Ear headphones. Very pleased.

Very comfortable open ear headphones. They sound good and allow for situational awareness. I use them when I'm walking my dog and when I'm in the car and when I'm taking public transit where I need to be able to hear what's going on around me.

I am on my third set of Shokz open-ear headphones. I wear them all day, almost every day. I can hear my music and still hear family members talking to me, the door bell, the dogs wanting to come in, and so, so much more. I love my Shokz. I absolutely love, and depend, on my Shokz!

I have had my open fits for about 2 weeks now, and I'm not going to lie at first I was reconsidering the purchase because I was experiencing a little bit of ear fatigue every now and then on the back of my ear, that has stopped happening over the last few days. I no longer experience any ear fatigue or discomfort in any way shape or form. These have really good sound quality as far as open ear headphones go and the battery has been really good so far. Any sound delay issues have been fixed easily by just resetting the headphones. Right now my main issue is that I have two cell phones and I had it hooked up to multi pairing which worked perfectly at first, but now whenever I go to use my other phone the headphones hook up to it but I can't hear any sound no matter what I do. I've tried restarting the phone and unpairing and repairing and nothing seems to work. It's a feature I'm not used to having though so I can deal, But I do hope to figure out how to fix it sometime soon.

You have the sound quality and fit as a great approach bordering on or actually being bone conducting buds! They dont sit over or in your ear, they transmit so beautifully. Its all there. Everything transmits wirelessly wirhout missing a beat. Thats the second reason. They are perfect for outside activities. Yes, fun in the sun mountain biking while listening to my favorite mix, without artificial ambiant control, its naturally a sweeter sound. Being that these are truly wireless, I can hear whats going on around me just enough to be safe! I can play all day with SOUNGEAR SENSE. The importance of knowing whats going on around you is no joke! So here we have both requests answered. Outstanding audio performance whilst allowing awareness of the surroundings. These never existed and I am honored to use and own them. They are that good! Remember, other people may hear your fav tracks too as the characteristics of the build. Yes, I absolutely love the concept, executed perfectly. I only wish I found them sooner.

Open ear headphones have changed my life. you can hear people around you while still taking calls and listen to music. I'll never go back. These are incredibly easy to sync up and easier to operate. Amazing.

The SHOKZ OpenSwim Open-Ear MP3 Player Swimming Headphones are superb. The bone conduction works incredibly under water. And the fidelity is seamless, clear, and precise. Love these for workouts and swimming laps. Shokz is a great company.
