If you use off camera flashes, this charge and some good rechargeable batteries are a must.

If you hate buying batteries over and over, or you hate how other rechargeable batteries lose power quickly, these bad boys are for you! I use these exclusively in my camera flashes now and the refresh rate is much faster than on my other batteries at this point.

This is my 10th HP4. I use rechargeable batteries and use these daily. I lose them every now and then as a mechanic, then quickly return to Coast for another.

So far these batteries are exemplary. Hold a charge well and are very inexpensive for what you get. Do recommend.

Do know how I went so long with out. Charges really fast, no 4 to 5 hours waiting for my batteries to charge up.

These are the best rechargeable batteries I've ever purchased. They hold a charge far longer than any others I've had.

Not much to say about this.. it's a rechargeable battery. Get it if you don't want to wait to charge just the 1 battery that comes with the OM-D. Also get it if you have the battery grip from Olympus as it is nice to double your photo time without swapping out batteries midway through. I would have tried one of the generic cheap brands, and I'm pretty sure they'd hold up well, but most require another charger and I just didn't want to deal with carrying around and juggling chargers and batteries, so I stuck with the pricier Olympus brand.. hey, at least you know it should work without a problem.

I also own the standard Eneloop batteries, but these are even BETTER. These rechargeable batteries easily exceeded my expectation. I decided to by the Eneloop Pro charger kit so I can charge these up. Summary: - These come with 4 x AAs that were precharged via solar energy. - They are 2550mAh NiMH batteries at 1.2V. - If you dont use them, they dont really discharge like most rechargeables. Theyll hold about 85% of their charge over the course of 1 year. - You can use the charger to charge both AAA & AA. - There are charge indicator lights. - It has an integrated, retractable AC plug that makes it nice and portable. - It will automatically shutoff to protect your batteries from overcharging. - You can recharge them up to 500 cycles. The Eneloops Pros are definitely my go-to rechargeable batteries. I used them for the external flashes for my Sony mirrorless cameras, as well as for their transmitters most of the time. These are great for high-drain devices. =]
