Do Tv Require Arc For Soundbar

Age 57 with deteriorating hearing and struggled to hear sound from TV. Arc soundbar has transformed the whole experience - no longer need to use hearing aids when watching TV. Incredible sound quality and richness/depth. Best money spent on tech recently.

After upgrading my tv to a 65" LG OLED I also wanted to upgrade my soundbar. I did a lot of research & read countless reviews & there were many choices I could have made. I eventually narrowed it down to either Bose or Sonos. It seemed people were saying nicer things about Sonos than Bose so I decided to go with the Sonos. I then bought a Beam Gen 2. Afterwards I thought I didn't want to set it up & then regret not buying the Arc so I went for it & got the Arc. I don't regret it, this soundbar is like nothing I've heard before. No remote, you set it up using your iPhone. Once you have set it up & have it plugged into the eARC hdmi port on your tv the tv controls it. The sound is unreal, it's beautiful & clear & soooooo impressive. I could go on & on but basically you get the picture, I'm a convert to Sonos & I can't see myself buying anything else soundbar wise. A very definite 5 star rating from me.

Paired the Sub Mini with an ARC soundbar in conjunction with a 55" TV. The room is 12x 18. The MINI enhances the sound appropriately and accurately, no artificial "juke box bass". The feature that tunes the system to the room works. Overall I am very pleased with both the ARC and the MINI sub. Foolproof installation, practically did it by itself.

Use the Sonos Arc to watch Movies and streamed TV and this Soundbar is a big upgrade from my Sonos Beam. Great enveloping sound from 1 soundbar. Clear, precise and bass goes deep when it needs to. Only quibble is the lack of Android Trueplay calibration.

Recently bought the Sonos Arc soundbar for my tv. I highly recommend this product. It delivers great audio and surround sound quality.

The Arc is the superb and the best soundbar that is on the market! Paired with Sony 93L TV. Sound is natural, well-balanced, and so crisp that stands alone. Just paired the Move speaker, which is amazing also.

this is a major upgrade over my old soundbar. while you will not get the full home theater atmos experience, movies sound impressive. the voice boost feature is great for programs with poor sound mixes, it really works well! The only downside was connecting with my TV which has no HDMI out labeled and you have to go to the manual to find which port is the ARC. Not Polk's fault, just know there is just one HDMI input on the bar, you need a HDMI/ARC port on your TV

Bought the arc to replace an older soundbar. Old one could never connect with old TV. Finally decided to give up and bought a new TV and the arc. Easy setup and went from 3 remotes and poor sound to 1 remote and great sound. Very happy with the system and the arc sound. I also like that I can stream iTunes through it.

I have ARC soundbar and two 300's for music and TV. Sound mostly very good but times when not. Watching NCAA basketball I had to unplug the 300's because the crowd sounds from 300's were overwhelming. At times music seems to be in the background or echoing. At times need vol at 60 to hear dialogue but next scene too loud. Need advice.
