Do you need a robust USB hub that lights up with each connection? No. Any old USB hub will work. But as an on stage musician/producer/programmer, having something this robust, reliable and focused on reliability is 100% a necessity. I can't afford to have USB drops or shady connections. This hub served the purpose with perfect reliability and trust. 1 less thing to worry about technically in a live session. And that insurance is worth every penny. 5 |

Not everything can be in the cloud. Thumb drives are hard to use with a Mac because if the Mac i/o. This drive allows you to work with USB and USB-C ports. 5 |

Purchased it to work with my older Mac Pro 2010 5,1. Especially handy since it has Thunderbolt 3 and USB C. Found out that it tops out just over 500MBS as a RAID 0 using TB3 or the USB-C so... a Sonnet Allegra USB card for USB 3.1 Gen 2 and I'm good to go on my older Mac Pro. When I upgrade to a new Mac Pro I'll switch to TB 3 and it will continue to reap benefits. Wondering if I could swap the 2 hard drives for 4GB SSD for an even faster setup. 5 |

Love this monitor!!! I’ve tried others but have failed because my Mac is a 2014 and only has USB type A. This monitor was the first to work and I love it. If I need to remote in on the go to get work done this will work perfectly. The installation was a bit funky and took a minute, but I’m also not very tech-Savy so that could be why. Screen is on the small side but it will do! Thank you Mobile Pixels for making a portable monitor this old Mac user can use! 5 |
