Do Wifi Router Range Extenders Work

I replaced my old Netgear router and extenders with the Asus GT-AXE16000 and the difference is like night and day. The WiFi signal is solid and the AIMesh partnered with the Asus Zen WiFi XT9 is an unbelievable feature. I'm able to take WiFi all the way to the other side of our house's second floor and it is still a solid connection. The number of options under the web GUI for administrations is amazing. This is a great choice when it comes to any home network. Thank you.

5000 ft home made from Adobe. Tried 2 extenders but still spotty WiFi. Replaced with Orbi WiFi router and 2 Satellites (able to connect back haul with Cat5e). Easy set up - great coverage inside and outside.

I was in major need of an upgrade. My router was around 7 years old (with two range extenders). Now I’m never waiting on video to load. Currently using Orbi Tri-band router with one satellite and have great coverage over entire home. Might upgrade to one additional satellite for the opposite end of the house when summer arrives and we are outside by the pool most of the time but only if needed.

I have only the 2 unit system and they are doing a tremendously better job than when I had one router and 4 extenders!

I'm glad I got 2 of these to take care of the weak spots in my house. They work so much better than the Range Extenders I had before. Consistent connection and faster speed than before. I decided to try the network afterwards and will play with it for now.

Ive been using computers since 1976 and this is the best home router ever.  it has the broadest range of any and bested Google Wifi with range covering my outside security cameras.  Speed is also superior.  Easy setup.  I highly recommend it.

So far the router seems to be doing what it's supposed to do. A lot of extras and the WiFI has excellent� range. But if you need to talk to tech support best of luck as everything is done thru email. If you get lucky and get to speak to someone they will just tell you to open up a support ticket thru email.

I got this to replace all of our wireless needs. I disabled wireless on our router and use this AP as our only source of wifi. The software is so amazing. We get better range and speeds in our home. Going to get the Ubiquiti USG and switch later.

Longer WIFI range than my old router, even without the satellite, and the satellite extends the range even more to cover any place in my house or yard (1/3 acre).

A really great product. The router range is great, and the user interface is an amazing experience. Easy to set up, configure, and set up however you like it. While it's extremely customizable, it also comes initially out of the box with an average Joe configuration that works well for a home wifi setup. Highly recommend this wifi router to anyone.
