I was using a different brand docking station with my laptop for work and it took several minutes of plugging and unplugging the connector. Once I used the Lenovo docking station, I stopped having this issue and can connect immediately with my external monitors. 5 |

This equipment works fine. This is my second Docking Station - a replacement for the first one, which lasted only a few weeks. The usb connector needs to be handled with a bit of care. I learned that the hard way. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This docking station is small in size and yet powerful. It comes with a 300W supply so it can power the laptop and provide USB power as well. It has 3 USB 3.0 ports and 1 lightening (USB C) port on the back and 1 usb port and 1 lightening port on the front. It also has 2 Display Port, 1 HDMI Port connectors and an RJ-45 connector on the back. The lightening connector on the back can also be used for a USB C monitor. There are not enough usb 3.0 ports on the back. I'm used to docking stations that connect to the laptop via a connector on the bottom of the laptop. These have more USB ports than this docking station. The double connector used to connect this to my laptop is a little clumsy but the docking station serves it's purpose. 5 |
