I’m able to use my laptop, phone, speaker and any other device I want. I wish the docking station was more sturdier. This Plugable docking station is equipped with 1x USB-C port for 5Gbps data and 20W charging, 4x USB 3.0 5Gbps ports, Gigabit Ethernet, an SD Card Reader, and audio in/out ports. This unit is a docking station, also support ac power to the Mac has all the ports you need to connect with the exception that hdmi instead has a video port, it works perfect to my needs, I was looking to something like this to connect hd's, and even have a hardwire internet connection, very stable, if you are serious to working from a Mac please get this horse.

This is a lot zippier than my MacBook pro. I paired it with a Thunderbolt 4 docking station, because the ports are limited. The docking station has a SSD, which expands the storage of the Mini.

I was looking for a powered docking station/hub where I'd only have one cord to plug in to my MBP. This dock did the trick and more. I have a dual monitor setup--one HDMI and the other DP--and it works perfectly. Plenty of USB ports for the rest of my accessories as well as ports to spare. What more can you ask for.

I was amazed at how much more capability this docking station gave me. This is a must to have for those who have extra accessories because it gives you extra ports and operates at a very high speed.
